Dosh sent

Good luck to him and all that jazz, he's doing something I'd love to do!

Serious point... google "HAPE" and "HACE"... if he feels rough, drop down by a thousand feet or more as soon as possible. This has been a public service broadcast

Cheers m8!

as for HAPE/HACE... beyond me so all I can do is support his challenge and trust his prep and planning take the dangers into account.

- literally just received this piccy and the news that Michael has just finished his Minesota 50 mile bike ride (3hrs 30mins)!

Update on Michael's fundraiser...

-just had an amazing text from Michael...

He has made it!

He was at the summit of Mount Kilimajaro for sunrise this morning and is now descending to the next level lower overnight hut.
His itinerary for today hardly does justice to the challenge/achievement

Day 8 (Thursday)
Trek to the summit at Gilman's Point (5685m) for sunrise. Optional trek for further 2 hours to Uhuru Peak (5895m). Return to Horombo Hut. 15-17 hrs

his justgiving page :
http://www.justgiving.com/MikesKilimanjaroChallenge

A big thank you to all supporters!!!

Brian.

That's fantastic! An amazing, life changing achievement for him, and a worthy cause.
