Default Hy.....

Hi, I am new here and joined the forums as I think it can be helpful for me somehow. My elder brother is suffering from Huntington's disease and I wanted to know it more by joining the forums and reading as much about it as I can.

Thanks

Hiya Samantha

I joined the forum for that very reason. As a carer it is a place where you can pick up tips on issues that will arise, learn and prepare and chat with folk in a similar position - safety in numbers!!

Hi Samantha - welcome to the message board. Sorry to hear about your brother - It is such a difficult time for all members of a family when HD enters their lives. I know you will receive a lot of helpful advice and information here, which will help you now and in the future.

Hi Samantha

I was a lurker for a while knowing my husband was at risk. I can honestly say joining is he best thing I have ever done. Knowing you are not alone facing the challenges that come with HD. I have also met some of these fantastic people who are now my friends ( HD family) Lets face it only the people living with HD really know what life is reslly like
