Hi Sammie,

I'm not going through this but my hubby has HD. When we went through testing he also had a few tests, although they never gave an opinion. He tested positive. Just wanted to say hello and welcome and good luck with your results.

Sorry as Melody has said I am not going through it ,my husband did a few years ago now and unfortunately tested positive
it's a worrying time waiting for result . ..
I am surprised the specialist has shared his concerns that you are in first signs while you are waiting for a result not in my experience something that is normally said ( limited experience I must add ) What has made him think that and why did he share that with you now ?

Hi Sammie
Welcome.

I'm not going thro it either it is my husband who has HD, i just wondered on what grounds the specialist suggested you were showing early signs. Did they do any general tests? Walking one foot in front of the other. Touching nose test etc?
Wish you the very best of luck with the testing. You are very brave to go through with it but I suppose sometimes its best to know. If the worst case happens and you do test positive at least you know what you are dealing with.

There is always research which you may be able to participate in as you are still very young
Best of Luck
X
