Default No word after a test...?

Hi, does anyone know what it means (or implies) if someone has had a test and hasn't heard back re. results for about three months? It's not me personally. Three months seems like a long time. I thought the average was more like 4-6 weeks? If anyone is in the know about this, please let me know! Thanks.

That seems far too long, i got my results within a month. Perhaps have them contact the genetics dept and chase it up. you are usually given an appointment to go in and get results the day you have the test done.
I hope this issue gets resolved and the person awaiting results has a good outcome :) xx
