Thank you everyone for your messages of condolence.

I'm coping okay thanks. The funeral is next week. I was dreading it possibly being on the same day as Steve's anniversary but it not going to be thank goodness.

T xx

I had planned to come back in on Friday and post up my new poem for Steve as that will be the actual anniversary of his death. However, I'm sure Steve won't mind if I post up a link early as it's gonna be a tough day as it is...

The following link is for my blog on Wordpress. I have used this one as I was able to insert photos within the text:

Well...

I managed to get through the day.

It is a year on

No job as yet (still waiting to hear about the Olympics position that has my name on it apparently "would you like fries with that" from a LOCOG burger van most likely)

Still in the same flat (I refuse to give this place up to pay more rent for a one bed down the road so that someone who wants a spare bedroom and has no disablilities whatsoever can get it even if Hub's hadn't died here making it even harder to move out)

I've put on half a stone in weight (cake, tea and no running around I expect)

Still not bothered to go for all those health checks I didn't have time to do when putting hubs first. Can't be doing... we have all gotta die at some stage and they read out my brother had 32 ops for his Rhumatoid Arthritis and Cancer and in th end he just couldn't take anymore bless him!

I'm working on overdosing on chocolate as I still haven't touched alcohol (last drink 25/2/2011) and my liver still seems to be intact from the years pre-HD Carer and during HD Carer.

The book sales are still very slow (probably doesn't help that I keep encouraging people to buy other people's books )

Another year... another spreadsheet I dare say.

Hi Trish

Thinking of you

I really think that there's loads of great advice in your book as well as lots of poems that hit the nail on the head in lots of ways.
