Hi all, a Bucket list is a great idea Matt! I just watched that film on the plane back to Saudi last week! It made me cry! I actually made a list about 3 years ago after watching the Ellen Degeneres show one day and a lady on there had written a list of things to achieve before she hit 40. Ellen brought her up on stage and helped her tick off quite a few things on her list and so a friend and I decided to put together a list there and then. I think I have 53 things on my list so too many to mention here but some of the things I have ticked off already are:-

1. Skydive (did this in Alabama 3 years ago).
2. Learn to play an instrument (bought a drum kit earlier this year and have started to learn).
3. Own a diamond ring (bought this for myself as I can't wait for Prince Charming to come along lol).
4. Climb a mountain (climbed Mt Kinabalu in South East Asia) two years ago.
5. Visit Italy ... just came back 2 weeks ago.
6. Go to Niagra Falls - Trip booked for September this year.
7. Adopt an Orangutan - a friend adopted one for my birthday last year.
8. Be fluent in another language ... been learning Spanish since January.
9. Swim with dolphins ... hopefully will do this in Mexico in September
10. White water rafting - Did this in Canada last year

Some things still to accomplish:-

1. Meet someone famous (I actually met and danced with Simon from Blue but he's not that famous)!
2. Do extreme sports in New Zealand
3. Go to Alaska and see the Northern Lights
4. Do a bobsled run!
5. Climb Sydney Harbour Bridge
6. Spend New Year's eve on Copacabana beach
7. Live in Canada!
8. Learn to ride a motorbike (and then buy a Harley)
9. Learn to use a sewing machine
10. Work abroad on a volunteer project

The list is endless really as the more you tick off, the more you think of.

Lady Cashel, I have an apartment in Egypt and can give you a very good rate if you ever decide to go!

Matt, if you ever cycle across America, let me know and I'll follow you in an RV. I've always wanted to cross a country in one of those things!

If only I were 15 years younger Matt lol! Or you were 15 years older! Let's do a sponsored climb of Sydney Harbour Bridge and then when we get to the top we can hang a big banner with details on HD on it to bring awareness to the thousands of tourists below! Anything for a holiday eh ;-) Yeah, I love to travel which is one of the reasons for moving to Saudi (oh and the year round sunshine isn't too bad either).

Hi Paula
you have done some great things. You have some good stuff to look forward to in September, going to the Niagra Falls and hopefully you will swim with dolphins. I think thats fascinating you living out there in Saudi. You must have had some wonderful experiences. I love reading about peoples lives, you must tell us what its like over there. Its interesting reading about Kath's life in Italy.
I would like to see the Northern lights one day.

Paula, that's a really cool list you have! I think I'll have to update mine 'cos you've reminded me of other things to do...

Now, an apartment in Egypt? What with Katiepies offer of a place in Italy, and you living in Saudi, I reckon there's an HDA Group World Trip in the offing!
