Default Carers Small Grant Scheme

Some time ago my sibling's social worker suggested I apply for a Carers Small Grant.

I learned today that my application was successful so must say a big thanks to Calderdale Council Carers Project for giving me the money.

As I said on another thread I applied for the money to put towards the London to Paris bike ride so I can self fund the trip and get sponsorship seperately.

I am not sure if this is a nationwide scheme but for people caring and getting a carers allowance it might be something worth looking into . You can apply for things like a Spa days , driving lessons, days out etc .
