Default Ritalin

Hi all not yet using drugs for HD stuff but while researching recently I read that in the USA, Ritalin or that family of methalphenodate prescribed for AdHD (attention deficit hyperactivity disorder) are worsening those recognised symptoms of JHD in juveniles presumably tested positive. Seems to be earlier testing there or maybe higher population?

Interested as our young one shows possible ADHD with periods of hyper focusing on specific tasks. So would perhaps avoid those meds...

One wonders if in the USA it wasnt really ADHD proper, in the first instance but in fact an example of the varied unrecognised symptoms/difficulties juveniles face with HD in their family heritage.
