Default An Evening of Clairvoyance, 17 April 2009

I've been helping a friend of mine who runs a voluntary Reiki centre and he wanted to do something for me in return. After some discussion we've come up with An Evening of Clairvoyance in aid of the HDA.

Bet you didn't see that one coming (sorry!)

Anyway, we've got 4 national and international clairvoyants in attendance, tea and biscuits and a hall that we can stuff 120 people into. If you fancy it it's being held at:

Loughton Community Hall
106 Borders Lane
Loughton
Essex

Friday 17 April, 8pm - 10:30pm, tickets available from me at £10 a pop.

I'm hoping this is going to be a good evening.

Funny how people react. I posted this up on the bike forum I belong to, and this came from a hardened rufty-tufty biker type:

Thats sounds like fun. I wished I lived closer.

There is nothing like opening up your mind to something different.
I thought that was cool.

OMG!! We're gunna have A Legend with us!!

Soooo, who else is coming? The Great and the Good that are the HDA management are all having a "meeting" in Liverpool and reckon they can't make it back. I reckon they should have the meeting here in Essex or London so they can come along to the evening. They can use my office if they want. Or my garden if it's nice.

Travelling is easy - it's at the other end of the Central Line! Nearest tube is Debden.

But I'll have The Legend That Is Ash here on Saturday, so if you fancy bringing the rug rats over on Saturday....?

So.... Who's going then?
Do we have a head count?

xx
Ha ha!! Yep, loads booked already (at least 70) but plenty of spare space.

We're also having a raffle. We want you, Ash, to sell the tickets at a pound a strip. Shaz is going to sell them at a pound not to strip.

What a great evening! Full house, standing room only, some great clairvoyants who REALLY told it like it is (including to my ex wife who was in the audience ) and best of all having LadyC there as well!! Managed to totally embarrass Ash by making her stand up while I told everyone what an amazing person she is with her China Trek and fundraising efforts so she got a big round of applause as well.

On a slightly bizarre note on of the clairvoyants afterwards said I had a great aura (I think it was wind from the curry we had beforehand) and said I had great spiritual potential. I proved her right by having several whiskeys later. But she also said she felt that I was probably a monk in one of my previous existences...

We raised somewhere around a grand which was cool, but best of all there are now a lot more people in this little corner of the world that know what HD is. And that's got to be a good thing.
