It's sad the funding from the state isn't available .

Local hd branches are able to offer small grants to families so that might be worth a try as well .

She's being fully funded in a care home at the moment so we are lucky, I would usually buy myself but am not back working full time myself after suffering a brain haemorrhage due to ruptured undetected aneurysm last year. :( Sometimes it doesn't just rain eh?!

Do contact your local Branch or Support Group - they may be able to help you with this. The Wrexham & District Branch has recently given a grant for a rise and recline chair for one of our clients.
