Default Article on PGD

Heylo!

I read this article on the bbc news website earlier and thought it was interesting - tis to do with PGD and the decisions surrounding it:

http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/magazine-12987504

The programme is on on Tuesday night, BBC3 at 9pm

Thank you for posting this link - very interesting... I had to stop reading the comments about how it is undervaluing a disabled person's life to go through with PGD blah blah blah... It was making me angry as the people making the comments will probably never have to face this decision themselves - but think its okay to judge others from a distance.

The image of a cheery disabled person is all they seem to have in their heads... not the anguished, torn apart families that actually have to make these sort of choices... ggrrrr

Anyhows - thank you - I will try and watch with my hubbie...

I'll be watching it on iPlayer.....my other half wants to watch CSI tonight to see if Justin Biebers' character gets killed

I only read a selection of the comments under the article.......that was enough for me!

Anywho, happy watching!

Interesting article Nix. Thanx for posting. I saw Jono on the Katie and my beautiful friends program on c4. Will be streaming this program too when I get my real computer back. As for the comments, yes everyone is entitled to their opinion but that doesn't mean I'm entitled to hear it. Thanx but no thanx. LOL
