Default Change of medication

It is early days but hubby would not entertain an increase in his dosage of olanzapine mainly because of the weight gain it caused. So he has been given just 1mg Risperidone with a view to increasing it after 2 weeks. Probably psychological but hubby tells me he feels less sleepy during the day, has his appetite back (never noticed he had lost it...ha ha), etc etc and is all together feeling much better....mmmmm watch this space but if anyone else has any observations with the different drugs I'd love to know.
