Default Hearing

Hi all, has anyone noticed a link between HD and hearing? At times, my wife often watch to and the volume will be twice as loud than usual. I can hear it from outside before I open the door. She'll turn it down in the end after I ask 3 or 4 times but before I ask, she seems oblivious to the loud volume. Thanks Fola

A couple of years back the tv was up to 74-83 even volume wise here - totally deafening to me. I finally took my husband to the doctors and a nurse syringed a load of wax out his ears. The tv went back down to 28-34 volume, could be that? For a good few years he used to hate other people's noise and the hoover would cause a rage to erupt but now...he doesn't seem bothered, it's as though he's oblivious.....

Mark has the volume quite loud and often has three devucrs on at one and in different channels so you have Kerrang! Radio in one year radio 5 live on the other and the tv as well !

He also has his ears syringed and lots of wax ( though like everything with hd not that easy to do )
