Default Press lack interest in HD

Yesterday no more than 7 mins walk from our home a man suffering from HD died after falling 5 storeys from a block of flats. The air ambulance attended and it caused quite a stir. The local paper has made it Headlines.

We recently held a fundraiser for the HDA and asked the paper to cover it, they declined. We have asked them to cover Sams Marathon run, they have ignored us. I have just posted the following on thier website. I am angry
.SHAME ON YOU NEWSSHOPPER.
I see that you have made this story your headline this week.
Great Story, a real eye catcher .
On 7th March you were invited to cover an event to raise funds and awareness for the Huntington' s Disease Association. You were obviously not interested.
This poor man was suffering from Huntingtons Disease. Had you covered the story perhaps someone locally may have read it an reached out to this wretched chap, not quite such a headline grabber, but just may have helped to save a life. Disgusted by you.
