It's difficult isn't it as I must admit would prefer the money I have raised to go into care and campaigns which can help people who are living and dying with the disease now.

With regards to research HD is fortunate with the philanthropist multi millionaire / billionaire who is funding CHDI which is a purely research based foundation .

things like equipment , housing adaptations people with HD have to wait and fight and fight and wait . We applied over a year ago for adaptation and still waiting yet communication aids , chairs and specialist beds and accessible bathrooms are something many with HD will need and can make life better for both the cater and person with HD .

I think some fundraising has been done and donated directly to a research lab maybe they could do that .

I have done a few bits and donated both to head office and the local branch .

Maybe a single initiative could be created perhaps for something like a peer supported help network I think many other charities have these as after office hours unless you use the message board the alternative appears to be the Samaritans .

The girls did fantastic great result
